Biotechnology & Bioinformatics is a research oriented science. It comprises of various other fields like Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Genetics, Chemistry, Engineering, Health, Medicine, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Cropping system, Crop Management, Ecology, Cell Biology, Soil Science, Soil Conservation, Bio-statistics, Plant Physiology, Seed Technology. Biotechnology is the use of living cells and bacteria in industrial process.
