      • Produced advanced biofuel business plan that raised foreign direct investment of 20+ million USD leading to establishmentof a Pongamiagene bank, development of 7+ elite clones with DNA profiles, micro-propagation, agro-technology / super high density fully mechanized plantation techniques, value added products (extraction and formulation of karanjin based bio-pesticide / N use enhancer, biogas, etc.) and contract farming of Pongamia species for production of bio-diesel involving small & marginal farmers on wastelands.
      • Prepared project report and got bank financing to the extent of 10+ Cr INR and produced cut-flowers (rose, gerbera, carnation, etc.) and vegetables (capsicum, tomato, etc.) using controlled environment technology.
      • Production & processing of Lemongrass oil with SBI assistance in Koraput, Odhisa through contract farming (>1000 acres) involving small, marginal tribal farmers.
      • Conducted inter-institutional collaborative project funded by Department of Science and Technology, India to detoxify Pongamia seed cake and its application in substituting soybean protein in poultry diet.
      • Recruited 50+ motivated professionals and directed them to meet Company’s goal of research & development.

      • Developedagro and process technologies for cultivating important & economically viable medicinal & aromatic crops(successfully completed five research projects with grant received from externalfunding agencies).
      • Developed and promoted new chemo-type of sacred basil containing > 80 % methyl eugenol, a pheromone and precursor of vanillin.
      • Developed and promoted novel method of intercropping for control of mustard aphid (Lipaphis erysimi Kaltenback).
      • Production of quality seeds &plantlets of crops and their supplyto farmers along with conduction training&field demonstrations.
      • Published 91 research papers intopnotch peer reviewed journals, 5 chapters in books and 8 popular articles in local journals, presented 76research papers in conferences and has 1175+ research work citations (ResearchGate). Guided two PhD students.
