West Bengal Act XXIII of 2014 provides for the establishment and incorporation of the Neotia University at Diamond Harbour, in the district of South 24-Parganas, West Bengal, and to confer the status of a Private University thereon.

conforming to the Quality Management System Standard. The certificate is valid for the following
scope: Imparting Education & training to Undergraduate Courses in Marine Engineering and Nautical

Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India

The Neotia University (TNU) and its courses are approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS). This continuing approval confirms that the Institute and its programmes conform to the Indian flag state’s training requirements which in turn embody the requirements of the International Maritime Organization’s Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), 1978 (as amended) the globally recognized benchmark for training of seafarers.

Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)

The Pharmacy education and profession in India up to graduate level is regulated by the PCI, a statutory body governed by the provisions of the Pharmacy Act, 1948, passed by the Parliament. The main objective of PCI is regulation of pharmacy education in the country for the purpose of the registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, and Regulation of the profession and practice Pharmacy

BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA (BCI)

The Bar Council of India was established by Parliament under the Advocate Act, 1961. It performs the regulatory function by prescribing standards pf professional conduct and etiquette and by exercising disciplinary jurisdiction over the bar. It also sets standards for legal education and grants recognitions to the Universities whose degree in law will serve as qualification for enrolment as an advocate.
