ABHIGRAHA 2K17, the Annual Freshers Welcome Programme for TNU/ NITMAS Students.

ABHIGRAHA 2K17, the Annual Freshers Welcome Programme for TNU/ NITMAS students freshly admitted, was held in the Multipurpose Hall on Campus from 3.30PM onward on 15th September,2017.
A special gala lunch was organised where the Senior Students served the Freshers. The Programme was then inaugurated by Principal NITMAS, Prof.Sujay Biswas, Director- SHCA, Prof Angshuman Chatterjee, and Advisor- Mechanical Engineering, Prof.Asim Bose. The Senior Academicians were felicitated by the students, and they addressed the students present.

The programme started with an interactive presentation by AKANTRIK, the Social and Cultural Club and E-Cell, the Entrepreneurship Club of TNU/ NITMAS. The Freshers got an opportunity to interact with their Seniors, which was thouroghly entertaining and enjoyable. A Selfie-Clicking Counter with props set up by the E-Cell likened things up.

This was followed by an excellently organised Cultural Programme comprising Slam Poetry, Dances, Skit and Streetplay, Rock Band Performances, Group Songs and other performances which left the 400 strong audience of Students and Faculty and Staff enthralled and captivated.

A memorable and successful programme which was deeply appreciated and loved by our Freshers.
