Advances in Robotics Applications with Jobs and Entrepreneurship Opportunities

The Robotics and Automation Department of The Neotia University (TNU) organized a Workshop on “Advances in Robotics Applications with Jobs and Entrepreneurship Opportunities” on 11th April 2021.

The primary objective of the workshop was to introduce the concept of Robotics, as well as to demonstrate various basic and interesting equipment, to the 12th Standard School students with Science backgrounds and undergraduate Engineering students. The speaker of this workshop was Mr. Aditya Marathe, CEO & Founder, NUGENIX, Ichalkaranji.

The workshop began with an inaugural address by Prof. Susanta Mitra, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, TNU. Thereafter, the H.O.D of Robotics & Automation Engineering briefly introduced the Department. Next, the resource person Mr. Aditya Marathe started the technical session. In this session, he explained the basics of Robotics as well as he explained about the emerging prospect in Robotics. Also, he showed some application of Robotics in various fields with some interesting dynamic demonstrations. Finally, he discussed the prospects of the discipline in terms of employability and future growth. He mentioned about Job opportunities in India and abroad with information on few leading companies as well as Job descriptions and type of job responsibilities. This session was also followed by a technical quiz. The session was informative and interactive.

The Online Orientation workshop ended with a vote of thanks by Mr. Md. Kamaruzzaman, Faculty, Department of Robotics & Automation, TNU.
