TNU and NITMAS organised a cornerstone Workshop on Solid Works and Water Rocketry in Association with the Space Technology Student’s Society of IIT Kharagpur

TNU and NITMAS organised a cornerstone Workshop on Solid Works and Water Rocketry, a first of its kind, on Campus on 12th August, 2017 at The Seminar Hall. Over 60 students, staff and faculty members attended the workshop.

The Workshop was conducted in Association with the Space Technology Student’s Society of IIT Kharagpur. Members of the Society visited the Campus and made several unique and informative audio- visual presentations on the subject, which was deeply appreciated by the attending Student’s.

The students were taken through detailed presentations on 3-Dimensional Rocket Designing, Basic Principles of Rocketry, Designing of Bottle Rockets, and a practical hands-on practical experience of Rocket launching which was a unique experience for all.

The response to the workshop was excellent and the students were considerably richer by way of knowledge and experience.
