REPORT

On 28th August 2023, the School of Pharmacy, The Neotia University, organized a Guest Lecture on
“Current Trend, Scope and Career Opportunities in Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Research”,
The inaugural function was graced by Shri Suhas Mukherjee, The Assistant Vice President,
Student affairs, as Chief guest, Dr. Manish, Registrar, TNU as Guest of Honor, Dr. Partha Kumar
Mukherjee, Dean, School of Science and Technology as Chairperson, Scientific Session. It Begin
with the lighting lamp and Saraswati Vandana and thereafter felicitation to the invited guests, followed
by felicitation to the student Mr. Nilesh Naskar for being awarded as “Best Student Award-2023, by
Association of Pharmacy Professionals. The inaugural function was presided by Prof. S. C. Dinda,
Dean, School of Pharmacy, and continued with an address by the guest speakers followed by the vote of thanks by Prof. Sankhadip Bose, TNU.
Two resource persons from the Industry, Mr. Gurpreet Singh, Vice President, Freyr Solution,
United Kingdom and Dr. Tarunjot Singh, Director, Stenos Health, Chandigarh India, Delivered
their scientific lecture on relevant topics on Pharmacovigilance and clinical research. The Scientific sessions were chaired by Prof. Sankhadip Bose and Dr. Partha Kumar Mukherjee and moderated by Dr. Chinmaya Mahapatra. A total of 117 participants from B. Pharm 3rd year and 4th year students as well as some students of the Bio-Science stream attended the program.
Speakers were awarded mementos and certificates followed by the vote of thanks by Prof.
Sankhadip Bose.
