School of Fisheries Science : Awareness programme on Hilsa
The School of Fisheries Science, The Neotia University (TNU), in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries, Government of West Bengal, organised an awareness programme on Hilsa, highlighting the importance of conserving this iconic fish and protecting our aquatic heritage.
The programme reflects TNU’s commitment to taking knowledge beyond the classroom and engaging with communities through meaningful social outreach.
We are also pleased to welcome Dr. B.N. Paul , Dean, School of Fisheries Science, TNU, who has recently joined TNU and has already been actively involved in social outreach initiatives such as this, contributing to greater awareness and community engagement around fisheries and aquatic resource conservation.
