Dr. Anindita Dutta is senior educator in the English Department with a Doctorate in English Language Teaching (ELT), Masters in English Literature and more than 25 years of academic experience at the college and university level. She was the former Head of the English Department at The Neotia University from 2019 to 2025.
In her entire teaching career, she has been a teacher, mentor and guide for her students, consistently working towards creating a challenging and engaging learning environment in the classroom and beyond, helping them achieve academic and professional excellence.
Dr. Dutta’s research interest explores contemporary fields in English Language Studies and English Literature. She has to her credit more than 20 publications. In addition to teaching and research, academic and freelance writing, Dr. Dutta has been an author, a researcher, an ELT Resource person, a Curriculum Planner and Designer with proven expertise in English Language Teaching, British Literature, Corporate Communication & Employability Skills.
An educator, researcher and an academic writer, Dr. Dutta has structured and designed the Curriculum for English Language and Soft Skills (common to most departments of TNU), Communicative English (Marine Department), Communication in Hospitality (Hospitality Department), at The Neotia University. The same are approved by regulatory bodies and currently followed by different Schools across the University.
