Dr. Anirban Das Gupta

Dr Das Gupta has done his PhD under the supervision of Professor Alok Kumar Sil and Sri Tapan Saha from the Department of Microbiology, University of Calcutta. Subsequently he did Post-Doctoral research from the Department of Bioscience and Biotechnology at IIT Kharagpur. He has published several papers as lead author in various prestigious international journals including Journal of Cleaner Production, Chemosphere, Ecological Engineering, Waste Biomass Valorization. Currently he is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, School of Science and Technology, and holds a key position in the Innovation and Incubation Cell of The Neotia University, Sarisha, Diamond Harbour.
His research interests include Algal Biotechnology, Bio-energy production, Wastewater treatment and Bioprocess Engineering.
Post Doctoral Research Associate in DST SERB IMPRINT II project at IIT Kharagpur.
CU-DBT IPLS Fellow sponsored by DBT Government of India and University of Calcutta.
