Dr. Manashi Chakraborty

Dr. Manashi Chakraborty is an Associate Professor of Chemistry and Assistant Controller of Examinations at The Neotia University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from University of Calcutta in 2015. With over 18 years of teaching experience and 16 years of research experience, she has made significant contributions to chemistry education and research.
Her research interests include coordination chemistry, synthetic inorganic chemistry, nanomaterials synthesis and characterization, magnetic materials, and emission footprint reduction in surface transport. Dr. Chakraborty has successfully completed and led several research projects funded by agencies such as SERB-DST and UGC-DAE CSR. She has published 27 research papers in reputed national and international journals. She has supervised two Ph.D. scholars and actively mentors students in research and academic development.
In addition to her teaching and research, she plays a vital role in academic administration, serving as Co-Coordinator of IQAC and Chairperson of the Internal Compliance Committee. She is also actively involved in organizing faculty development programs, seminars, and national and international conferences.
