Dr. Baidya Nath Paul is a fisheries and aquaculture scientist, educator, and academic administrator with over 33 years of professional experience in ICAR, including extensive service at ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture (ICAR-CIFA). He currently serves as Professor & Dean, School of Fisheries Science, The Neotia University, West Bengal. His expertise includes fish nutrition, feed technology, freshwater and sustainable aquaculture, aquaculture diversification, farmer training, research management, and technology transfer. He has contributed over 105 research publications, authored/edited books and book chapters, guided postgraduate and doctoral scholars, and led several research, training, extension, and technology-development programmes. He has received several national recognitions, including Fellow Awards from the Animal Nutrition Association of India and Animal Nutrition Society of India, and has contributed extensively to the development and dissemination of practical aquaculture technologies for farmers.
