Dr. Sarita Sarkar

Dr. Sarita Sarkar is an Assistant professor in the Department of Biotechnology at The Neotia University. Dr. Sarkar has overall more than 3 year of teaching experience. Previously, she had 9 years of research experience. She pursued her Ph.D. in 2017 from Kalyani University, West Bengal and her research area mainly concentrates on Biophysics, Cancer cell biology, Microbiology and Biotechnology. In this regard she has 24 international publications in peer reviewed reputed journals till date in her name. Apart from this, she authored 3 book chapters. She was awarded DST-SERB-NPDF in 2018 and conducted her Post doctoral research work in the Division of Molecular Medicine, Bose Institute, Kolkata.
