Dr. Sutapa Chatterjee Sarkar

Dr. Sutapa Chatterjee Sarkar received her M.Tech degree from Bengal Engineering & Science University, Shibpur. She has completed her doctoral studies (Thesis submitted) in Computer Science and Technology department of Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur. She has obtained her MBA degree in Information Systems specialization. She is a Corporate member of Institution of Engineers (India), and having a professional membership in International association of Engineers (IAENG). Her research interest includes the domain of Computer Architecture, Digital Signal processing, health informatics, recent research trends in VLSI and on the development of Cellular Automata theory and its applications.

She has 6 years of Industry and 18 years of academic experience. Previously she worked with Signotron (I) Pvt Ltd , CIEM and Seacom Engineering College. She has worked as Head of the Department (Assistant Professor) of ECE in Seacom Engineering College from 2017-2022, During this time she became a mentor of BOSCH in MSME capacity building of skillnext project, member of Governing body as Senior faculty member, a member of academic advisory body, a single point of contact (SPOC) of MOOCs, (SPOC) of Hackathon, conveynor of Atal ranking Institution Innovation Council and  innovation ambassador. Recently, she has joined The Neotia University as Assistant Professor in the School of Science & Technology.
