Dr. Payel Paul

Dr. Paul is an Assistant Professor in the Biotechnology department at The Neotia University. She has completed her BSc and M Sc in Microbiology from Calcutta University. She holds both NET and GATE qualifications and completed her Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Prosun Tribedi in the Neotia University. Her research has focused on understanding and combating microbial biofilms, exploring natural agents that can inhibit their formation. Currently, she is investigating potential drug candidates to combat antibiotic-resistant strains of various pathogenic organisms. Dr. Paul has authored over 21 research papers in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
