Mr. Maibam Malemngamba Meitei is a research-oriented Aquaculture professional and Ph.D. scholar at ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai, specializing in sustainable aquaculture, integrated multi-trophic aquaculture (IMTA), polyculture, nutrient management, and bioremediation. He has authored and co-authored a total of 28 publications, including 8 research articles, 7 review papers, 5 book chapters, and 8 magazine articles, with a focus on aquaculture, environmental sustainability, and resource-efficient production systems. He has also presented his research findings at five national and international conferences and seminars. He is a recipient of the Junior Scientist Award-2025 (FLSA), Young Achiever Award-2023 (ATDS), and Best Poster Presentation Award (IFO-2, 2025). He has qualified ASRB/ICAR-NET (Aquaculture). He also completed a one-month Advanced Research Training Programme at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain.
