Joined The Neotia University as Assistant Professor and HOD, (Department of Fisheries Science) in April, 2022, modified as HOD of Aquaculture, Division of Fisheries Science w.e.f 01/9/2022 The Neotia University.
Responsible for conducting classes in the Aquaculture Division & other related activities.
Served as Fishery Project Specialist in Rural Bengal Research Foundation (RBRF), to develop and execute Fisheries & Aquaculture projects in rural West Bengal. Taught Industrial Fish and Fisheries graduation course topics in Brahmananda Keshab Chandra College, West Bengal State University.
As Subject Matter expert for Inland capture fisherman cum primary processor, develop training course on inland capture fisherman cum primary processor for skill development in Content Grill Private Limited.
Assessor in MSAG Skill India LLP conducting assessment for training on specific skills in fisheries.
Served in Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. Of India. Program Manager, Ornamental Fish Division, West Bengal, worked for export promotion of ornamental fish in the state of West Bengal & North East States, based at Kolkata regional office. Implemented ornamental fish development schemes and projects.
Served as Lecturer – Department of Zoology for B.Sc (Industrial Fish & Fisheries) at Madras Christian College, Chennai
Worked as Quality Assessment technologist of Sea Food Processing Unit, the project was supported by United Nations (UN)- Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) and Action Aid, India, Community Development Organization Trust, Chennai (C-DOT)
Worked as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the project, “Non – Timber Forest Produce and Agroforestry” supported by Tamil Nadu Forest Department (CARE EARTH, Chennai).
Worked as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the project entitled “Application of Probiotics in Fish Nutrition” funded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi at Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE), Kolkata Canter.
