Ms. Sudeshna Sarker

Teaching Associate

Ms. Sarker is just starting off her teaching career. She has more than seven years of research experience on Aquatic Animal Health. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Fishery Sciences and she has done her M.F.Sc. earlier. Currently, she is associated as a Young Professional – II in ICAR-All India Network Project on Fish Health in Dept. of Aquatic Animal Health, West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences. She has received various awards such as the National Fellowship for Scheduled Caste students (NFSC/RGNF) 2017-18 by University Grant Commission (UGC), the “Dr. N.R. Menon Award” for the ‘Best Indian M.F.Sc Thesis for the year 2016’ by Professional Fisheries Graduate Forum (PFGF), the “InSc Young Researcher Award” for the year 2020 by Institute of Scholars (InSc) and the Scholarship for college and university students of the Govt. of India by Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, Govt. of India. Till date, she has two national and twelve international publications in her name. She has attended 12 National and 7 International Conferences organized by various forums.
