Dr. Neeraj Pathak is currently serving as Assistant Professor and Overall Head in the Faculty of Fisheries Science, The Neotia University, West Bengal. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Fish Quality Assurance and Management from Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Tamil Nadu. Dr. Pathak’s academic and research interests are centered on fish processing technology, seafood quality assurance, post-harvest management, and value addition of fisheries products. He has been actively engaged in teaching, research, curriculum development, and academic administration, contributing significantly to the academic growth of fisheries education. His research work includes studies on seafood quality enhancement, shelf-life improvement using natural antioxidants, and sustainable approaches in fisheries processing and management. Dr. Pathak has published research articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has also contributed book chapters and academic manuals relevant to fisheries science and education. In addition to his research and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Pathak has been associated with various academic and professional activities aimed at strengthening fisheries education and promoting sustainable practices within the sector. His academic contributions and research excellence have been recognized through several honors, including the Young Scientist Award.
