Dr. Sutapa Chatterjee Sarkar

Dr. Sutapa Chatterjee Sarkar received her PhD in Computer Science and Technology department from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, and received her M. Tech from Bengal Engineering & Science University, Shibpur. She obtained her MBA degree in Information Systems specialization. She is a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers (India), and has a professional membership with the international association of Engineers (IAENG). Her research interest includes Computing, Computer Architecture, Digital Signal processing, health informatics, recent research trends in VLSI, and on the development of Cellular Automata theory and its applications.

She is UGC NET qualified. She has 6 years of research experience. Along with this, she has 6 years of Industrial and 19 years of academic experience. Previously she worked with Signotron (I) Pvt Ltd, CIEM, and Seacom Engineering College. She worked as Head of the Department (Assistant Professor) of ECE in Seacom Engineering College from 2017 to 2022, During this time, she became a mentor of BOSCH in MSME capacity building of the Skillnext project, a member of Governing body as a Senior faculty member, a member of an academic advisory body, a single point of contact (SPOC) of MOOCs, SPOC of Hackathon, conveyor of Atal ranking Institution Innovation Council and innovation ambassador. She has joined The Neotia University as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering in the School of Science & Technology.
