Ms. Aliya Halim

Ms. Halim has 13 years of teaching experience as a faculty of English Language and Literature at reputed educational institutes in Kolkata. She has done Double M.A. (in English & in Linguistics) and B.Ed from University of Calcutta. She qualified NET-JRF in the year 2011. She is pursuing her Ph.D from the Department of Linguistics, University of Calcutta. Ms. Halim has been awarded the MANF Fellowship by UGC. She has received two Gold Medals from the University of Calcutta for her academic achievements. She has published several research articles/chapters in National and International Peer-reviewed journals and books. She has delivered invited lectures and presented research papers in National and International Conferences. Passionate and inspiring her research interest includes Language Studies, Translation Studies, Folklore, Minority Studies, Memory Studies, Medieval History and Diaspora Literature.
