Golden News!! Our Chief Advisor, Prof. C. Kole, Wins a Gold Medal!!

We are feeling extremely proud to share that Prof. (Dr.) C. Kole has been awarded the prestigious AgriGenomics Pioneer Gold Medal during the International Conference on ‘Feeding the Future through Sustainable Eco-friendly Innovations in Rangeland, Forages and Animal Sciences’ organized jointly by the Range Management Society of India, ICAR-Indian Grassland & Forage Research Institute, and University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore held at UAS, Bangalore during December 02-04, 2023. We fell also proud to share that the Citation mentioned many of his fundamental discoveries in plant genomics and biotechnology both made first as an Indian and first in the word. Prof. Kole conducted his researches in Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology and Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Science in India; Russian Academy of Sciences in Russia; and University of Wisconsin; Pennsylvania State University and Clemson University in USA. Prof. Kole expressed his thanks to these universities and also other universities and institutes where he worked later; the funding agencies in India and abroad; and his colleagues, relatives and well-wishers. He expressed his special gratitude to Padma Shri Harshavardhan Neotia, our Hon’ble Chancellor for kindly extending his ‘Congratulations and good wishes’.
