Terms & Conditons Apply:

  • The decision of the Management will be final and can not be challenged.
  • Family Income Certificate to be obtained from any “”A1 Gazetted Officer / BDO/ SDO / ADM / DM etc.”” and Affidevit has to be filled-up and signed by the student / guardian wherever applicable.
  • For Under Graduate (UG) courses – Higher Secondary (12th Class) Marks on the basis of “”Best of 5 Subjects”” or Diploma Marks or WBJEE Rank or JEE Mains Rank required for All Recognized & Valid Boards will be considered.
  • For Master Degree Courses (P.G) and Vocational Courses the above scholarship criteria is not applicable.
  • For Lateral Entry courses – Scholarchip shall be calculated on overall Diploma marks.
  • For GRAMOTTHAN & SPECIAL HILL STUDNETS’ Scholarship – submission of the Permanent Resident Proof of studnets is mandatory.
  • Stusents need to apply for Chancellor’s Scholarship separately after taking Final Admission. An Empowered Committee will decided about the award of this scholarship after interview and other formalities
  • To continue the Scholarship for next semester(s),
    • The students cannot fail in any subject in the current semester
    • should score minimum 6.5 SGPA
    • Should not have attend Summer Classes.
  • Students need to apply for scholarship with all required & supporting documents after Final Admission to the Registrar Office, TNU within stipulated notified time.
  • Students will not be eligible for continuation of scholarship in the next semester; those will go for summer school as they are not eligible to sit for the end semester exam due to the attendance shortfall (N.B. For summer school the criteria of attendance will be decided by the competent authority in semester wise, for odd sem 2024 it was 50%.)
  • From the above scholarships, a student shall get the benefit from any ONE scheme only.
  • Scholarship for International Studnets (except Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh) is separate.
  • A student can get maximum upto 100% Scholarship only.

Chancellor Scholarship

  • After scrutinizing, as decided by the Empowered committee up to 100%

Sports Scholarship

  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • National Or State Level Sports Participation / Champion Certificate

Cultural Scholarship

  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • National Or State Level Cultural Participation / Champion Certificate

Sarvodaya Scholarship

  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • Family income certificate below 2.5 lakh to be obtained from any “A1 Gazetted officer/BDO/SDO/ADM/DM/Executive Officer of Municipality/ Asst. Commissioner or above in Municipal Commissionerate etc and an affidavit has to be filledup & signed by the student / guardian whenever applicable.

Mere Apne Scholarship

  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • Proof of employees of Ambuja Neotia Group (till date)
  • Family income certificate (more than and below 5 lakh) to be obtained from any “A1 Gazetted officer/BDO/SDO/ADM/DM/Executive Officer of Municipality / Asst. Commissioner or above in Municipal Commissionerate etc and an affidavit has to be filled up & signed by the student / guardian whenever applicable.

Sahodarya Scholarship

  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • Proof of Siblings of all students present or passed out

Gramotthan Scholarship

  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • Domicile certificate (South 24 Pgs panchayat area) to be obtained from any “A1 Gazetted officer/BDO/SDO/ADM/DM etc.
  • Family income certificate (more than and below 5 lakh) to be obtained from any “A1 Gazetted officer/BDO/SDO/ADM/DM/Executive Officer of Municipality / Asst. Commissioner or above in Municipal Commissionerate etc and an affidavit has to be filled up & signed by the student / guardian whenever applicable.

Special Hill Students Scholarship

  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • Domicile certificate (student from GTA area (W.B) North-East States, Nepal & Bhutan) to be obtained from any “A1 Gazetted officer/BDO/SDO/ADM/DM etc.
  • Family income certificate (more than and below 5 lakh) to be obtained from any “A1 Gazetted officer/BDO/SDO/ADM/DM/Executive Officer of Municipality / Asst. Commissioner or above in Municipal Commissionerate etc and an affidavit has to be filled up & signed by the student / guardian whenever applicable.
