**Terms & Conditions Apply:
(1) For all the Scholarships, TNU’s ‘Empowered Committee’ will take the final decision after an interview about the eligibility of the student for the scholarship and the decision of the
‘Empowered Committee’ will be final and can not be challenged.
(2) Family Income Certificate to be obtained from any “A1 Gazzeted Officer / BDO/ SDO / ADM / DM etc.” and Affidavit has to be filled-up and signed by the student / guardian wherever applicable. (3) For Under Graduate (UG) courses – Higher Secondary (12th Class) Marks on the basis of “Best of 5 Subjects” or Diploma Marks for All Recognized & Valid Boards will be considered.
(4) For Post Graduate (PG) and and Vocational Courses (B.Voc.) the above Scholarship Criteria is NOT applicable.
(5) For Lateral Entry courses – Scholarship shall be calculated on overall Diploma marks.
(6) For GRAMOTTHAN and SPECIAL HILL STUDNETS’ Scholarship – submission of the Permanent
Resident Proof of students is mandatory.
(7) To continue the Scholarship for next semester(s), (a) the students cannot fail in any subject in the current semester (b) should score minimum 6.5 SGPA (c) Should not have attend Summer Classes.
(8) Students need to apply for scholarship with all required & supporting documents within the stipulated date to the Registrar Office, TNU.
(9) Students will not be eligible for continuation of scholarship in the next semester; those will go for summer school as they are not eligible to sit for the end semester exam due to the attendance shortfall (N.B. For summer school the criteria of attendance will be decided by the competent authority in semester wise, for odd sem 2026.)
(10) From the above scholarships, a student shall get the benefit from any ONE scheme only.
(11) Scholarship for International Students (except Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh) is separate.
(12) A student can get maximum up-to 100% Scholarship only.
(13) If a student is eligible for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship from the West Bengal Government, and the scholarship amount is Rs. 60,000 or more per year, that student will not qualify for any additional scholarships from The Neotia University.
(14) The student need to take Full Admission by paying Rs.50k within 30th June 2026 to be eligible for any of the above scholarship (Except for the courses like Nursing, GNM or any other courses notified separately).
(15) Scholarships are not applicable for B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture, Maritime Studies(All Courses), Certificate, Diploma (less than 3 years) and B.Voc. courses in 2026-27

Sports Scholarship

- National Or State Level Sports Participation / Champion Certificate
Cultural Scholarship
- Class 12th Mark sheet
- National Or State Level Cultural Participation / Champion Certificate
Mere Apne Scholarship
- Class 12th Mark sheet
- Proof of employees of Ambuja Neotia Group (till date)
- Family income certificate (more than and below 5 lakh) to be obtained from any “A1 Gazzeted officer/BDO/SDO/ADM/DM/Executive Officer of Municipality / Asst. Commissioner or above in Municipal Commissionerate etc and an affidavit has to be filled up & signed by the student / guardian whenever applicable.
Sahodarya Scholarship
- Class 12th Mark sheet
- Proof of Siblings of all students present or passed out
Gramotthan Scholarship
- Class 12th Mark sheet
- Domicile certificate (South 24 Pgs panchayat area) to be obtained from any “A1 Gazetted officer/BDO/SDO/ADM/DM etc.
- Family income certificate (more than and below 5 lakh) to be obtained from any “A1 Gazetted officer/BDO/SDO/ADM/DM/Executive Officer of Municipality / Asst. Commissioner or above in Municipal Commissionerate etc and an affidavit has to be filled up & signed by the student / guardian whenever applicable.
Special Hill Students Scholarship
- Class 12th Mark sheet
- Domicile certificate (student from GTA area (W.B) North-East States, Nepal & Bhutan) to be obtained from any “A1 Gazzeted officer/BDO/SDO/ADM/DM etc.
- Family income certificate (more than and below 5 lakh) to be obtained from any “A1 Gazzeted officer/BDO/SDO/ADM/DM/Executive Officer of Municipality / Asst. Commissioner or above in Municipal Commissionerate etc and an affidavit has to be filled up & signed by the student / guardian whenever applicable.
