The automotive industry in India is changing rapidly. Hence, competition is very high among the companies to get their share of profit. Automobile exports grew 15.54 percent from April 2018 to February 2019. It is expected to grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 3.05 percent during 2016-2026. The automotive industry is among the top hirers in the Year 2017- 2018 in India.

Automotive Servicing Technology offers students the techniques of installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing automotive parts. Those who are passionate about servicing the various parts of vehicles such as brake systems, engines, electrical and steering systems, etc. can immensely benefit by the program.

The Indian automotive industry stands one of the largest across the globe, contributing more than 7% to India’s GDP. This highly competitive auto sector set in motion an equally important automotive servicing and repair industry which is estimated to be worth Rs. 34,000 core by the year 2020.

As per the new education policy, the full-time credit-based skill-oriented vocational courses first time is introduced by our University where students have the liberty to study as per his/her requirement or as per the industry demand. To upgrade qualifications/skill competencies, learners can avail themselves of vertical mobility to the second year of the B. Voc degree program after a two-year diploma.

The students may further move to Masters and Research degree programs mapped at NSQF Level.
