I agree to receive information regarding my submitted enquiry at The Neotia University.

    About the course

BA in Rehabilitation Education is a concept that recognizes and celebrates the natural variation in human brain functioning and neurodevelopment. It suggests that neurological differences, such as those found in autism, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), dyslexia, Tourette syndrome, and others, should be viewed as normal variations of the human brain rather than as disorders or deficits.

The neurodiversity paradigm emphasizes the idea that all brains are unique and that these differences contribute to the richness of human experience and society. It promotes acceptance, understanding, and accommodation of individuals with diverse neurological profiles, rather than focusing solely on trying to normalize or cure differences.

Advocates of neurodiversity highlight the importance of recognizing the strengths and abilities of neurodivergent individuals and providing support that respects their differences while allowing them to thrive in various aspects of life, including education, employment, and social interactions. This perspective encourages a shift away from pathologizing neurological differences toward embracing and valuing them as an integral part of human diversity.
