The School of Humanities, Social Science & Management, The Neotia University provides high-level training for the PhD in Management programme. It aims at producing new knowledge with extensive and exhaustive support to the scholar. Step 1:

Sign up /Fill up the Application Form

The student must first complete the Registration/Enquiry Form via the TNU website (www.tnu.in) or any other online platform that provides access to the TNU Registration/Enquiry link. Upon submitting the Registration Form, the student will receive a link via email, SMS, or WhatsApp to complete the Application Form. The Admission Counsellor at TNU will assist in filling out the form. Upon submission, a unique application number will be assigned to the student.

Step 2:

Appear for Admission Entrance Test

All undergraduate course applicants are required to take an admission entrance examination. Once the Application Form is submitted, the Admission Test option will become available on the Student Dashboard. By selecting this link, students can complete the test at their convenience from any location. Students applying for lateral entry into postgraduate courses are exempt from this test. A distinct admission test will be organized for PhD candidates.

Step 3:

Test Results

Within 24 hrs. of Admisison Test, the test results will be available at student’s Dashboard. 40% is the qualifying marks for the test.

Step 4:

Provisional Admission

Following the submission of the Application Form, if the student successfully passes the entrance examination, they may secure provisional admission in their chosen and available course by remitting a fee of Rs.10,000/-. The payment procedure and link are provided above. Upon completion of the payment via TNU’s Payment Gateway, a receipt will be generated and can be accessed on the student’s Dashboard.

Step 5:

Final Admission

After students receive their H.S (10+2) marks and meet TNU’s eligibility requirements for a specific course, they may secure final admission by remitting the outstanding balance of the first semester fee. Once the final admission fee is paid, a UID number will be generated for the student, allowing them to attend classes. The provisional start date for classes is set for August 1, 2025.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The PhD in Management is an interdisciplinary program that instructs students to master a wide variety of skills in leading people and organizations. With the ability to manage change, analyze data, and assert leadership, students will be well-prepared to enter a range of career fields. The field of Management is very vast and diverse. It encompasses the elements of several

courses and specialization under this domain. The students who enrol for PhD in Management courses can specialize from list of subjects. The Doctoral Programme in management aims at training professionals and teachers in the skills and competences related to the systematic investigation of various issues and problems in the area of their study. At this level, the study is expected to provide new and original insights into the problem or the area under investigation. The programme aims to foster high-quality researchers, innovative thinkers, and touchstone academics. The programme offers the chance to delve into multidisciplinary research in the domain of management education. Its purpose is to imbue learners with the necessary analytical and research skills required for a career in academics, management, and industry. In this spirit, the programme is run within an academically poignant environment that aid research scholars hone their intellectual tendencies. The programme also aims at producing excellence in publishing high standard research output.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Applications shall be invited through announcements by the university. The interested applicant/s may submit the application for admission in Ph. D program in Management to the Registrar’s Office of the university. The Research and Development (R&D) Committee of the university shall get in touch with the Controller of Examination Section to conduct the admission

entrance test (written mode). In the entrance test, 50% questions shall be set from Research Methodology and the other 50% questions shall be set from the domain of Management. The qualified candidates shall then be called for a Personal Interview. The qualified candidate might then be considered for enrolment in the Ph. D (Management) program in the School of Humanities, Social Science & Management.

ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Scholar’s research progress shall be evaluated time to time by the advisory committee created for the individual students. The advisory committee shall suggest ways to improve the quality of research work of the said scholar. The advisory committee shall be made by considering four faculty members (chairperson, co-chairperson/convener, external subject-matter

expert and departmental nominee). The report of the advisory committee shall be submitted to the R&D committee. The R&D committee shall keep the records and shall forward the same to the Controller of Examination (CoE). The advisory committee shall be following the Ph.D guidelines of The Neotia University while functioning further.
