Drilling, Milling and Shaping Machines

Description: Shaping (sometimes called slotting) is a machining process whereby a work piece is held on the machine table, which is then advanced into the path of a reciprocating ram, upon which is mounted a single-point cutting tool. The milling machines are also known as the multi-tasking machines (MTMs) which are multi-purpose machines capable of milling and turning the materials as well. The milling machine has got the cutter installed up on it which helps in removing the material from the surface of the work piece.

Pipe Bending Machines

Description: Tube and pipe bending machines are used to bend tubes and pipes to produce finished parts. Tubes are structural, hollow conduits that are used as flow lines for fluids and gases in pneumatic, hydraulic, medical, and process applications.

CNC Lathe Machine

Description: Operated with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) systems and provided with precise design instructions, CNC Lathes are machine tools where the material or part is clamped and rotated by the main spindle, while the cutting tool that work on the material, is mounted and moved in various axis.

Universal Milling Machine

Description: Universal milling machines are used to process different surfaces of small, low-weight parts, for piece- and serial production. Milling of parts and work pieces on the machines is performed using different milling cutter types, such as cylindrical, disc, end and angular milling cutters.

Central Lathe Machine

Description: A lathe is a machine tool that rotates a workpiece about an axis of rotation to perform various … Woodturning lathes specialized for turning large bowls often have no bed or tail stock, merely a free-standing … The spindle is driven either by foot power from a treadle and flywheel or by a belt or gear drive to a power source.

Machine Shop

Description: A machine shop is a room, building, or company where machining, a form of subtractive manufacturing, is done. In a machine shop, machinists use machine tools and cutting tools to make parts, usually of metal or plastic (but sometimes of other materials such as glass or wood).

Hydraulic Press Machine

Description: A hydraulic press is a machine press using a hydraulic cylinder to generate a compressive force. It uses the hydraulic equivalent of a mechanical lever, and was also known as a Bramah press after the inventor, Joseph Bramah, of England.

Universal Testing Machine

Description: A universal testing machine, also known as a universal tester, materials testing machine or materials test frame, is used to test the tensile strength and compressive strength of materials. An earlier name for a tensile testing machine is a tensometer.

Workshop Floor

Description: Machine shop consists of the following types of equipment for producing parts. • Milling machine. • Metal lathe machine. • Multitasking machine. • Machining center. • Grinding machine. • Drill press. • Welding machine. • Inspection equipment.
