We are feeling proud to share that Prof. (Dr.) Kole has received ‘Honorary Fellowship‘ conferred by the ‘Indian Academy of Horticultural Sciences (IAHS)‘ on November 6, 2023 for “outstanding contributions to Plant and Horticultural Sciences” from Shri Atul Bora, Minister of Agriculture, Horticulture & Food Processing, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Urban Development, Town & Country Planning, Govt. of Assam in the gracious presence of Padmashri Dr. K. L. Chadha, President, IAHS; Dr. Bidyut C. Deka, Vice Chancellor, Assam Agricultural University (AAU); Dr. Kamal Malla Bujarbaruah, Former Vice Chancellor, AAU; Dr. H. S. Gupta, Chairman, Assam Agriculture Commission; Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Vice President, IAHS; and Dr. V.B. Patel, ADG (Fruits & Plantation Crops), ICAR on the stage; and Vice Chancellors of a number of universities, Directors of a number of national research institutes and a large number of eminent scientists from all over the country in the audience during the 10th Indian Horticulture Congress-2023 organized by the IAHS and AAU held in the College of Veterinary Science Campus, Guwahati, Assam on November 6-9, 2023.
