Dr. Animesh Kundu
Dr. Kundu received his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry (Hons.) from Hooghly Mohsin College (University of Burdwan) in 2013. He obtained his M.Sc. degree (Chemistry) in 2015 and subsequently completed his Ph.D. (Thesis Supervisor: Dr Sukanta Mandal) in 2021 at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. His doctoral research work was focused on the development of mononuclear ruthenium complexes for water oxidation catalysis. He has several international publications in his name. He has successfully qualified various national level examinations (IIT-JAM, NET, GATE) during his studies. He has attended and presented his research papers in various (~30) national and international conferences, seminars and workshops in India and abroad (USA). He was the recipient of the Young Scientist Award from Indian Chemical Society for presenting his research works. After completion of his doctoral studies he was engaged in research works and teaching for a few months at different institutes. In September, 2022 he joined The Neotia University (TNU) as an assistant professor of Chemistry. His research interests include the development of molecular water oxidation catalysts and their applications.
