Prof. Niloy Sarkar

Prof. (Dr.) Niloy Sarkar is a graduate in the branch of Life Science with honors from University of Calcutta. Prof. Sarkar is a Post Graduate in Public System Management with specialization in Health Care and Hospital Management from Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM), Kolkata. He holds M. Phil. in Hospital and Health System Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) – Pilani in collaboration with the Tulane University Medical Centre, New Orleans, USA and Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore. The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur has awarded him Ph.D. in Social Science and Management.

He has over 21 years of experience. Prior to joining The Neotia University, he was the Dean – Academics in NSHM Knowledge Campus (NSHM College of Management & Technology) – Durgapur and prior to that he was with C.K. Birla Group of Hospitals in different capacities. Dr. Sarkar remained the Regional Director for Indian Society for Health Administrator (ISHA), Bangalore. He remained Advisor for UNICEF sponsored health project to the state government. At present, Prof. Sarkar is one of the National Committee member on IT and ITeS of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII)- New Delhi.
