Experience: 34 years of working experience in Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
Research Interest: He has done research work on the rainfed farming system including cropping system, organic farming, varietal adaptability based on the agro-climatic ecosystem, value added crops, agro-economic technology development for the poor and marginal farmer through optimal productivity utilizing natural resources.
Publication details: He has published 48 articles in peer reviewed national and international journals. Also served as reviewer in many national and international journals and attended so many national and international conferences.
Distinction / Award: He is a life member of the Indian Science Congress Association, Indian Statistical Institute and Crops and weed Science Society.
Project: PI & Co-PI in 9 projects funded by Indian Statistical Institute.
