From Nadia to Miami: Rahibul Hossain’s Global Culinary Journey
Meet Rahibul Hossain, a proud alumnus of the 2018–2021 batch from the School of Hospitality and Culinary Art, The Neotia University, hailing from the Nadia district of West Bengal. Rahibul’s story is one of aspiration, dedication, and a dream realized on the global stage. Today, Rahibul is celebrating a major milestone in his career—his selection for the prestigious 1-Year J-1 Internship Program at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, USA. Situated in the heart of Downtown Miami, this 31-storey luxury hotel is part of one of the most renowned hospitality chains in the world. His internship in the Culinary Department offers him a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to gain hands-on international operational experience, understand and uphold global hospitality standards, explore interdepartmental coordination, and develop crucial supervisory skills in a real-world setting. “It’s a dream come true to be working with one of the leading hotel chains globally,” says Rahibul. “This experience will shape my future and open doors to incredible possibilities in the culinary world.” He credits his success to the world-class training, mentorship, and guidance he received during his time at The Neotia University. “The faculty at the School of Hospitality and Culinary Art groomed us not just with knowledge, but with the confidence to take on global challenges,” he shares with gratitude. Rahibul’s journey from a small town in West Bengal to the shores of Miami is a testament to how The Neotia University empowers its students to dream big, work hard, and achieve internationally.
