Dr. Ishita Rehman

Dr Rehman has done her PhD from the prestigious Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science under the supervision of Professor Benu Brata Das, DBT-Wellcome Trust/India Alliance Fellow. Subsequently she did her Post Doctoral Research from the esteemed MD Anderson Cancer Centre, University of Texas, Houston, Texas, USA. She is also the winner of the prestigious Cockrell Fellowship. She has published multiple papers in Nucleic Acid Research, Science Advances, Small, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry among many others. Her present research focuses on prokaryotic topoisomerases and DNA damage repair pathways.
