Mr. Sumit Kumar Ganguly

Sumit Kumar Ganguly is an Assistant Professor. He has previously taught at SGT University, Gurugram and Amity University, Kolkata. Before joining academics, he has work experience in diverse areas. He has worked in the social sector and political consultancy besides litigation. He had completed his graduation from National Law University, Jodhpur with highest marks in Constitutional Law Hons. He did his LLM from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru where he was awarded a 50% scholarship on tuition fees. He is UGC-NET qualified. His articles have been published in the The Statesman newspaper and Counterview blog. He contributes to the I-CONnect: The Blog of the International Society of Public Law. He was the Co-Convener (Academic) of Indian History Awareness and Research (IHAR) Foundation’s West Bengal Chapter. He is the Coordinator of the Legal Cell of Nikhil Bharat Bangali Samanway Samiti. He had been associated with a theatre group Mrittika till 2023.
