Dr. Suchandra Goswami

Dr. Suchandra Goswami is an Assistant Professor of Physics in the Department of Basic Science of School of Integrated Sciences at The Neotia University. Dr. Goswami has research expertise in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, particularly in the chemical and solid-state synthesis of nanomaterials, magneto-structural properties, exchange bias effect, magnetic memory effect, and graphene-based nanomaterials.
She has completed her Ph.D. in Physics in 2022 from the Material Science Research Lab, The Neotia University. Her doctoral research focused on “Synthesis and Studies of Transport & Magnetic Properties of Nanostructured Materials.” She qualified GATE-2019 with an All India Rank of 803.
She has published 16 research articles in reputed international journals, including Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Nanomaterials, Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, Journal of Materials Chemistry C, and Physical Review B (accepted). She has actively presented her research at more than 15 national and international conferences, including IEEE NAP (Poland) 2022 and Research Conclave at IIT Indore.
Dr. Goswami is currently acting as the the Principal Investigator of a university-funded research project titled “Hydroxyapatite Biocomposites and its Use for Waste Water Purification” (2024–2025). She has received several awards, including Best Paper/Presentation Awards at several international conferences, received East Meets West Grant for the IEEE NAP conference and International Travel Support from SERB.
