I am Kasturee Bhattacharya and it gives me immense pleasure to share my most adventurous educational journey with all.

Four years ago in 2020, I stepped into The Neotia University to earn a degree in Bachelor of Science in Culinary Art at School of Hospitality & Culinary Art Department to enrich education with my passion. I must say it was the best decision I have made so far by choosing The Neotia University.

As a student, it was a golden period of learning and enjoyment. Small regular appreciations from faculties motivated me to make learning my passion. Dedication and perseverance for skill development by teachers still motivates me to constantly work towards my goals.

This course was my 2nd graduation after B. Com Hons. I came to know about this university from a close friend of mine. Later I researched and got to know that it is one of the top private universities in West Bengal with multiple courses. The lush green campus environment had always acted as a refreshment & major satisfaction was that the campus was far away from the hustle bustle of the main city. I used to stay in women’s hostel which is inside the campus itself. I understood a phrase that says, ‘Teachers are the true mentors’. Each and every one of them were more like friends as well as mentors. Their guidance had played the most important role in wherever I am today. I had never faced any difficulties regarding gathering knowledge and experience.

I passed in the year 2023 & got felicitated with the University Gold Medal, as the Topper in my Department. This experience was a dream come true, but also a heart wrenching moment as Convocation day marked my  last day in the campus, my department and that environment. Currently I am pursuing my post – graduation Masters in Culinary Management but if in near future I ever get a chance to pursue higher degree, I would surely take a chance of coming back to this University.
