As a student pursuing Masters in the field of biotechnology a great exposure to practical field and hands on experience on various lab technologies along with the theoritical knowledge is one of the major requirement in both the industry and renowned labs or research centers.
Our department of Biotechnology provides us with all the facilities one requires for their hands on experience required in the field of biotechnology. Starting from various lab instruments including laminar, autoclave, PCR machine, benchtop fermenters and equipments related to animal cell culture techniques upto the full support by the research and development team to explore ones own innovation all are available.
The teaching techniques of all the faculties of our department are such that one will have both a clear concept and develop a strong feeling of interest towards the subject. A systematic, disciplined approach of pursuing the course is followed by the department of biotechnology along with creating a comfort zone for students so that they can approach the faculties with all the doubts they have. Not only does the faculties are eager to solve their doubts but also make sure that the students can freely have a open communication with them. Overall, it is a great experience to be a part of this department.
