  1. Organized an International Symposium on Water, Arsenic and Environmental Crisis, Issues, Impact and Strategies held on 19-20 December 2004 at CIRDAP Building, Chameli House, Dhaka, Bangladesh;
  2. Worked as an Irrigation Expert as well as Head, Irrigation Expatriate Team to the Government of Uganda, East Africa during 1994-1996 being deputed by the Government of India and associated with the several educational programme launched by different international agencies in African Countries.
  3. Have been organized a school for primary education for destitute and downtrodden mainly for the children of the service providers of the society (vegetable vendors, maid-servants, rickshaw pullers) as Samatat Siksha Niketan (http://www.samatatsiksha.org) and now it is a venture with good degree of success.  
  4. Have been made several recommendations for introduction of course curriculum on irrigation management in Uganda, East Africa for starting with Makerere University;

 

  1. Industrial and other Experiences:

The Government of India, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs deputed as Irrigation Expert to install, design and lay out of small-scale irrigation for sustainable crop production in Uganda (East Africa) for a period of two-years (1994-1996) and the Government of Uganda gave me responsibility to lead the team of expatriate (delegation) in the field of irrigation water management.
