Academic introduction:

UGC NET (Assistant Professor) qualified candidate in Psychology with an M. Phil degree in Clinical Psychology (from the University of Calcutta), preceded by a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from West Bengal State University. My work profile and experiences spread over the last 5 years and range from psychological intervention, assessments, teaching at UG and PG level and research work. My core-competencies lie in the area of psycho-diagnosis, empathic handling of clients; and good communication and analytical skills. I also have a keen interest in academics - research oriented work and teaching. My areas of specialization are - cognitive process, personality studies, clinical psychology, and biopsychology.


Research expertise: 

  • Dissertation submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirement for M.Phil. Degree in Clinical Psychology to the University of Calcutta entitled: “Exploring the Psychosocial Aspect of Police Personnel”.
  • Dissertation submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirement for M.Sc. Degree in Psychology to the West Bengal State University entitled: “Working Memory: Its Correlates with Perceptual Organization”.
  • Supervising PG students with their dissertation work.
